Well, my Hot Wheels version that is!
<= Jealous . . . I've been on the lookout for one as well. I did find Sam Posey's Dodge Challenger in the Kroger
I was just wondering recently if they ever made that car. It actually crossed my mind to take one out of the package and do one myself. Good score Hunter.
how? where? who?
give us details...how can I add one to my set? Is there a link or a number? what store?

You gotta be lucky. That's the joy of being a hotwheels collector, you have to be constantly on the lookout. It's the art and fun of the hunt.
Or, you could just be a Bob Costas and buy it on ebay.

I dont walk ou tof a Kroger, Meijer, Target, or toy store without checking out the hotwheels selection...it appears they must all be stocked from the same distribution network...they all have the same 15 or so on rotation.
Ive never seen packaging like above...Imma have to get creative where I look!
I have seen the Vintage Racing series at my local Autozone, but they haven't had any of the Road Race cars yet.

+1...I've only seen drag cars
In reply to JoeyM:
Around here, it's NASCAR. They look pretty good, though. I think I read somewhere that Mattel's even made new dies for some of them.
The first release had the two Bud Moore T/A Mustangs (Parnelli Jones and Revson, 15 & 16) and the 65 Mustang Copue T/A car (white w/ Blue stripes) along with a bunch of drag cars. This round is supposed to be a bunch of T/A cars (Donohue Javelin, BRE 510, etc) and 3 drag cars.
In reply to Javelin:
The NASCARs aren't out yet? I could have sworn the ones I saw were the Vintage series, maybe I've got them confused with another series. (I'm only a casual HW collector)
Oh they might be. Mattel/HW rolls out weird across the country. I'm usually the last to get them since I'm out West.
I hit the mother load of BRE 510s, if anyone is interested. Walmart in a town about 30 mins from me has about 5 left. And I don't see them going anywhere real soon. If anyone really wants one, I can go grab it for you. $4.47 + shipping. Lemme know!
Oh, and David... Niiiiiice.
