No, not bank vault. They weigh a lot more.
It's a radiation shield door for high dosage radiation. One skin is 3/8" plate steel, one skin is 1/4" plate steel, and the core is 2" thick lead.
Is it medical?
I usually have to put the powered operators on those. Imaging techs hate long swing times, so they have to move pretty quickly. It takes a decent motor/gear assembly to do that. Most of them in that size range are Brookfield operators.
And don't let that thing get away from you.
There was a gent locally that got killed by one several years ago.

Definitely has a power operator. Also has over $200K worth of concrete and welded steel holding it in place.
