I would feel like a turtle carrying all that stuff. My every day carry:
-2 keys on a bare ring
-iPhone 4s
-leather bifold wallet
And the wallet gets locked in a drawer as soon as I can do it. The phone gets tossed on the desk or put in the center console of the car. I hate having stuff on me or in my pockets.

You carry all that on your person at all times?
Just the gun. I'll gather my goodies later, but I've got a few things to do before then. I have no problem concealing this full frame .45 as I weight in at a whopping 125 lbs.
Ruger P345:
I like guns and that still seems excessive.
FWIW, the p230 is about the size of my hand. And this isn't excessive compared with people around here.....
I know a decent number of people who carry 3-4 handguns, 1-2 rifles, and a shotgun whenever they drive anywhere....hell one thought it was a great idea to open carry an MP5..... That last one didn't end well btw....many police were called.
Overkill IMHO are people who drive around the old jeeps with functional M2's on the back.....
I carry a Kershaw Black Vapor knife, a tactical pen, iPhone, keys and a wallet with one of those Swiss Army card things in it. No gun though.

Clockwise-ish from the left: Indestructible Timex Expedition on a leather cuff; load-rated carabiner carrying too damn many keys and a Gerber Artifact multitool containing an X-Acto-style blade; up top is a S&W Tac pen (that happens to take my favorite Parker cartridges) and 4Sevens Preon II light; trusty Bic, Leatherman Skeletool, sweet wallet I just got from JackThreads, containing an emergency Dunlop 2mm guitar pick. Not pictured: Samsung Galaxy SII in an Otterbox case, CRKT M16 tanto that's tucked in my boot. Not yet pictured (because I haven't turned in my CC permit paperwork): Walther PPK/S .380 - until I can afford something I like more, probably a G19.
I carry a G19 in an N8^2 IWB holster. I like the SP2022, but it's heavier/bulkier than I care to carry around.
You guys obviously don't spend a lot of time in courthouses like I do. I can't remember to take my little pocket knife out before I go inside.

^Courthouses and City Halls really bum me out. (Air travel more so, obviously.) I appreciate the buildings that have their administrative, run-in-to-file-something offices in front of the security line so I don't have to go through the rigmarole just to drop off a check.

Honestly, I don't pretend to understand this part of your culture, but it sure does scare the hell out of me.
I really need to load some of my shooting videos up with all the weapons laid out in front of us, just having fun. Come on down and I'd be happy to let you find out for yourself.

I find whilst shooting two guns at once I hit less than with one gun. Though it matters less when one of the two guns is a pistol mossberg 500.

HAHAA. Absolutely true. Firing double handed was just all over the place. We did it for fun. I was holding a .45 in my left hand and a 9mm in my right. Both Rugers.
EDIT FOR CORRECTION: Both 9mm. One S&W (left hand), one Ruger (right hand).

Is that to me or N Sperlo cause from the video it fits him more

And that was before I got the AK.

He lives in the Lu (St Louis) which last I checked has parts that have pasted Detroit for violent crime.

I work at a place that I would be fired and kicked off the property if I even had a gun in my vehicle. Same thing if I had any alcohol in there.
Last fall two guys were caught. One had a single bullet that was in the lining of his jacket that slipped through a hole in the pocket when he was hunting. Discovered in the x-ray machine.
Another guy had a handgun in his backpack. Both were escorted off the site that day.
We even have explosive sniffers and fingerprint readers just to get in.
I carry my car keys, wallet, and cell phone. Nothing else.
In reply to joey48442:
So I just actually watched this video. Umm.... you guys have a full auto? I see the reason for the mask.
In reply to singleslammer:
None are full auto. Just quick fingers. That's simply a .22 Ruger. The video is posted as private. Only the link will access it and in a week or so, I will clamp down a little harder.
In reply to T.J.:
The company I am contracted to is similar. I'm just on the enforcement end. I've never had to walk anyone out for any weapons violations. I cannot comment any more on the subject.

Our folks on the enforcement end have some firepower and spend a lot of time on the shooting range and with MILES gear.
