This might belong in the "You know you're a GRMer when..." thread, but:
My 10 year old gave me his Father's day gift- one of those drawings that a lot of time went into, and you know you're supposed to give ample appreciation for and perhaps add to the Shrine of St. Fridge.
As I looked it over, I realized it was a drawing of our backyard, complete with our fence, our trees, my tractor, and my son and I were standing in the middle of it with big smiles on our faces and my arm around him. You could tell which one was me- I was the tall one with a beard...
...and a GRM Tee shirt!
Rock on, GRM!

Stig gave me a gift card for Autozone and a Paypal certificate—both of which will come in handy with the soon-to-be-my Golf. He's a busy little dude between pooping in his diaper and chewing on things.
My kids got me beer - it's nice to have kids who are old enough to legally buy alcohol.

My 4-year old got me the Indiana Jones DVD collection It was actually his idea. He remembered that I really wanted it when we were shopping for Mother's Day presents in May. He and my wife went to Target to shop for my present and apparently he made a bee-line right for the exact spot. How cool is that?!

What a fantastic gift!
I got a #1 Dad handpainted mug and a #1 Dad hand painted coin bowl from the local ceramic shop. Both kids picked out the item and painted it for me!
I didn't get a kitty-daddy gift.

I've got kids old enough to buy me beer, as well as kids young enough to do Fridge masterpieces.
Maybe I should combine the two and call it "Art Appreciation Class". At least Dad would appreciate the art a little more!
I got four pair of "extra-grande" khakis, a second printing of a book from 1913, another book of strange laws all from Leann, Tanner got me a baseball mitt so I could catch the balls he rocks back to the pitchers mound at me, Trevor got me a slobbered on Polo shirt... he is only seven months mind you.
Oh I also got a steak and a hummer.
I had to grille the steak and the hummer looked like this:
i will be able to celebrate it next year

Did you procreate with the thing in your avatar? Good call, if so.

Got to sleep in until 8:30, woke up to french toast and bacon and two bright eyed kids saying "Happy fathers day daddy". Mom took them to the store while I zoned out surfing the net for the next hour or so. Napped the afternoon away. Thick steak for dinner, spent the evening in the kiddy pool with the rugrats, then finished the day with stories and songs to put the kiddos to bed. It was a heck of a cool way to spend my first fathers day. Cool wife and wonderful kids.
Ordered Smokey Yunicks book for myself but it hasn't arrived yet. Sent an email and Trish Yunick responded! Should be here anyday.
Daughters pancakes in the morning were good!

Only got one gift from 3 kids. A super size calculator, about 12"x14" with huge keys and read out. I have no idea what that was supposed to mean. Yeah, we get along quite well.

My grandparents and I got my dad a '99 Miata as a combined Birthday/Father's Day present. I spent Father's day helping him install the rollbar and disassemble the front suspension.

I woke up to homemade fruit salad and Eggs Benedict for breakfast, and a nice present of a few CDs and DVD of a 1965 horror movie starring William Shatner and spoken entirely in Esperanto with English subtitles... I can't wait to watch it.
i bought my dad and his wife lunch for fathers day and invited them to a car show sunday. took some pics and i am going blow one of them up and send it to him..so its agoing to be a few days late..oppssss...
Woke up to the kiddies (girls both, 4 and 2) about 3 inches from my face. Got up. Washed my a$&. Fired up the recently repaired Porsche. Went out for a drive for about an hour and a half. Came home, helped father in-law install new end links on his Miata. Went out to lunch with family. Went to the wholesale tool store with aforementioned father-in-law in previously referred to miata (gotta test your work). Picked up some meat on the way home. Grilled marrinated tips. It was a good day.
well my dad came over to watch the F1 race, ended up giving him my Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie, he loves it...
