Although it has not been announced officially, sources have Charlie Weis as Will Muschamps Offensive Coordinator.
Does anyone else think this is a bad idea?
Where are you at on this one?

I think they could have done better. His record at ND was 35-27. "Supposedly" he is a better OC then he was a Head Coach. As long as they figure out which QB they are going to use instead of being so predictible with using all three I'll be happy.
I'm mixed. I mean, A Golden Domer? Gross.
But I can't say I'm sad to see Steve "Straight Up the Middle" Addazio go.
Best thing that ever happened to Brantley, good match for the current personnel, not sure how it will work for recruiting.
he probably is a better coordinator than HC... at least at KC .... got them to the playoffs...... been a while since they've been there...
As a Vol fan, it is good to see the program go through some issues. We need all the help we can get right now.
I'm an expert. You should really listen to my opinion here
The problem with Charlie Weis isn't that he's not a great football coach--he is--it is that he is an awful recruiter. You don't need to be a good football coach to win in college, you need to be a good recruiter. Weis wasn't.

I hate the 'gators.
I hate the Vols.
I hate the 'heels.
I like football, was saddened by our season, but boy am I glad basketball season is here.
Good comeback but obviously that picture wasnt taken in Nashville. There was much of the baby blue in the stands.

Yeah, Neyland stadium looks like a garbage truck worker's convention.
And isn't it in Knoxville?

Neyland Stadium is, but The Music City Bowl is in... The Music City..
I'm not a fellow Gator... quite the opposite actually (I am in Tallahassee) but Weis is an offensive genius that's better off as an OC than an HC. With that, I dont think he could be making better money than his current job in the NFL. He is not that good of a recruiter so no advantage there. Could be a very interesting transition for the Gators but I dont see why Charlie took the job unless he thinks he could be an HC in waiting.
