Writing about it now I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures when we brought it home, but there it is. I also don't have any of it with the wood on, but the wood was all completely rotted.
It's an older 4x8 Harbor freight utility trailer. I don't really have a need for it now or in the near future, but the price was right.
In typical fashion, getting it home was an adventure in itself. We had to go borrow a different truck, then pick up a Bigger trailer, go find this trailer, transfer a tractor from this trailer to the truck, drop this off at my house, drop the big trailer off, then return the truck. It was a 5 hour ordeal, but the trailer was free, I didn't have to back a trailer up a hill in a manual, and I didn't have to pay for gas, so win.
things are a little crusty, but not bad, should be alright for my purposes.
I have 4 4 pin wiring sets in the garage, so it's getting fully rewired, as well asa new led trailer light set from harbor freight. I also plan to bolt or weld on eye bolts every 2 feet around the perimeter to maximize tie down points.
I haven't quite decided on a new floor though. Marine plywood, regular plywood(NOT OSB) with an epoxy coating, expanded steel, it seems like there are a lot of options.
Also, counting the 2 that are on it, I have 7 wheels with tires of various ages and tread patterns, so I'm going to pick the best 3 wheels and get new tires for them. It had it's spare mounted on the rotted wood frame, but I'm going to mount it to the neck when I get that far.
The right fender is a bit bent, I need to pull it back a bit from the tire before I take it any where. When it's finally road legal I'm going to find a parking lot or a field and get some practice in. I don't have much trailoring experience period, let alone trying to maneuver one with a manual.
