Best.
Christmas.
Present.
Ever
I'd been thinking about getting a little fridge and converting to a kegerator for a few months, but have been putting it off.
At work, we have a really nice 2 tap Kegerator that I am in charge of. But since we started working from home 100% in March, I haven't gotten to enjoy the free beer that comes with.
So Nikki bought me a really nice, commercial rated Kegerator for Christmas. It can be built-in, too, so when we buy a house in a couple of years, we have options to do so.
I should be picking up the 2nd Keg Thursday.
Life is great
Now what to put in it.....

I am struggling to understand why the Keg was not tapped in the first pic?
You buying industrial beer or do you have a micro that will fill your kegs?
When I owned the brewery, people with Keg fridges were my most favourite customers.

She got you blank images for Christmas?
"At work" and "free beer" are mentioned here?
Need more details......

I was making sure how I would fit things... rest assured, it was tapped right after the pic and is delivering delicious Austin Eastciders Original Dry cider. It's a local Cidery. I'm trying to get a keg of some Schilling cider from WA, but the distributor for them doesn't carry kegs. So the 2nd tap will be some extra dry cider from St. Arnolds Brewery in Houston. Our home is 100% gluten free (my girlfriend unfortuantly suffers from Celiac's disease)
There are lots of local breweries that you can order from at local retailers in kegs, but we did get kegs at work filled by Bluebonnet and Pint House Pizza (their Electric Jellyfish is delicious) sometimes.

I work for a database/data analytics company. We moved offices in Jan of 2019 and built a nice cafe area. Fancy espresso machines and stuff, but I don't drink coffee. We go the CIO to purchase the kegerator and made biweekly runs to stock cans and replace kegs if needed.
We cut, crimp, and make all kinds of hoses. No free beer for our guys.

You should change that! Great morale booster.
When I was in college, some guy I knew through mini baja had turned a regular fridge into a kegerator and the water dispenser in the door hooked up to the tap. You just held your cup to the door to fill.

Not what it's meant to be, but I'm down.
Matthew = maffew = m4ffew
I'm on my 3rd 1/6th of Eastcider (its almost empty though) and finally got the 2nd tap going today, the Schilling Grapefruit and Chill came in and it came with a sticker that fit the Schilling tap handle I found on eBay.
Unfortunatly a couple of the ciders I love best aren't being made right now due to lower demand because of covid :( But holy hell, I'm enjoying this thng.
