I made the mistake of commenting on a Motor Trend post on FB. I've had 3 fake hot chick accounts want to friend me daily ever since.

On FB I get the new friend requests that are all very nice girls from China. All are mid 30s divorced and all are driving Porsches and all are trying to sell me some sort of cripto investment where all you need is $500,000 US and you get a return of 1.7% every 10 days or so deposited directly in to your bank account. .. . . Seems legit right?
So I thought why not introduce several of my new "friends" to each other. I mean they have similar interests. Right? Watching my new "friends" trying to scam each other in a joint chat was one of the most satisfying moments.
@ David: at least you got a billionaire that seems to drive a nice car wanting to be your friend.

+1 for this, same thing. I post a photo on Instagram about once a week, mostly for some of you guys with #grmphoto and a few friends that dropped FB. I get random followers that I never acknowledge.
On FB I have a public photo album for vinyl designs I've made, so I can send anyone to look at it (besides friends). I get lots of random "Hi you seem nice can I say hello?" comments that get deleted and blocked.

I have an instagram account that I've posted on exactly once (over a year ago), and I still get those random spam bot followers.
Maybe I'm just old, but the resolution limits and lack of support for landscape orientation photos (which is 90% of what I shoot) make instagram really uninteresting to me.

As an FYI: IG has allowed non-1:1 photos for quite a while now.

Yup, IG is no longer limited to squares. And speaking of Instagram you can see my non-car work here. :)

Hm, OK. I did figure out how to do it now that I know it's possible, but that's pretty bad for user interface feature discoverability. Also, the "stories" side of it forces everything into portrait mode.
And I'll still rant about the resolution/screen usage. Looking at David's most recent page, with a full-screened browser I get this:
I've got a nice 27" display, and the web site won't let me use more than a quarter of it in the center, filling the rest of it with black, white, and gray bars as well as some text. Is there some magic button to click to get it to maximize that I can't find? Or is this just laziness where most people look at it on a phone so they don't bother to make the desktop UI usable?
