The Turdle. Temporarily out of stock (guess they are feeding the cows).

If I had to pick between a tarted up pony and a tarted up girl...

There is something fanatical about MLP fans. Not just the bronies. I had a grown woman yell at me in a supermarket because she heard me make a joke about MLP to my wife. She was yelling that it was a layered show with very deep meaning and that when I was older I would understand it better.

And these things are creepy.

My kid is a brony (for some reason she refuses to be called a pegasister) and says the same thing about deeper layered meanings. But she doesn't yell at people about it.

Deeper, layered meaning? Really?

I mean, seriously- really? I have no idea. I've never seen it. I just find it kinda hard to believe. Soemone put that much effort into a commercially marketed television cartoon?

It's a childrens show...

Folks that are finding deep meaning and layers are the same folks that read Harry Potter as an adult and think it's a remarkable piece of literature.

Ah. Unfortunately, I know exactly the people you mean.

About deep layered meaning: I don't make the news, I just report it as it's reported to me.

I had to look up "bronies".

Some bronies go a little too far.

No, I have no idea what the cupcake or snot mean. Yes, I have talked to my daughter about NOT doing this.

No... just shook my head. I used to collect "Best of the West" horses and cowboys – but they had cool wagons and guns and cowboy hats and the figures could actually ride the horses – not like useless Barbie whose legs broke when I tried to jam her on a horse.

I saw that and realized I'd missed my calling in life, but then I had to ask myself "Is there really a market for monochromatic pollack-esque messes that smell like someone extinguished a tire-fire with a bottle of Evan Williams?"

You broke Barbie's legs? Wow, you must be Mafioso.
