I have the Motorhome to work on. Just got it running this weekend. The Miata race car project. Model cars I was working on for a contest here. House projects. Etc.

It might be time to move her.

My wife's father is in a home. They have had 10 employees infected and 2 residents since this all started in March. They have a procedure, their people are sticking to it and it is working.

Maybe her home just can't get a handle on the situation or their staff won't follow procedure and you need to find another place for her.

Looked into it but I'm not sure where to go. The other places are worse. They have places here in Dallas with over 40 residents infected and 10 deaths. One up in Denton with so many deaths they are getting investigated by the State. No deaths where Mom is yet. They had no infections in the beginning when other places were getting wiped out. I told Mrs. Snowdoggie I was going to the nursing home the other day and she told me not to. She was afraid I would get infected by one of the employees there.

I'm sure that's frustrating. My only suggestion is to not dwell on it. Drugs may help, but as someone with an addictive personality, I'm fully onboard with the no drugs mentality. My only suggestion is to distract yourself. Stay busy. Go to bed tired.

What kind of motorhome. Got a build thread? If so, I must have missed it. If not, make one. We love reading that kind of stuff.

I will say, coming on here and bitching about things helps as well.

So don't forget to keep doing that.

As you can see this project has slowed a bit.

Actually the motorhome is easy. I can climb under it without jacking it up to change the oil and the filter is right there, unlike my sports cars which require being double jointed or having some Snap On universal ratchet joint thingie.

Well, get back to work. Spend some time thinking about that instead of other things. Put your energy into problems you can solve, rather than problems you can't.

If your job is slow and the health insurance sucks, look into finding a new job.  There are dozens of manufacturing plants around here that all have put help wanted signs. All offer insurance.

A couple of years ago I asked my GP for something to help me focus at work.  I figured it would be ADD medication, most of which is some form of amphetmine and very addictive.  Instead, he tried me in various antidepressants.  Most were prescribed at low doses, and some had side effects I didn't like.  It never helped with focus at work, but I never realized how bad my anxiety was. And my temper was getting really bad.  The antidepressants were great for those.  Regular antidepressants are not narcotic or addictive.  I went off mine after I got laid off.  I realized pretty after several months that I needed to go back on them.

You are worried about you mother, but her nursing home has had no deaths and all other places are much worse.  You should be thanking you lucky stars.

I wish you and your mother all the best and a Merry Christmas.
