When's the last time you saw a Pulsar NX? My new neighborhood has two, one with a Sportback.

Two ACVW on my street (one Beetle, one Squareback), one more works a block down (a Manx buggy replica).

Parked about two blocks away for a few days last week was a 914 with a terrible body kit and equally bad paint job.

Across the street used to live a lifted and very competent looking Grand Cherokee.

This is all within walking distance. I don't know what to think.

sav for the old couple next to me with their beautful First gen Mercury Sable.. I have the oldest and most unusual cars in my neighborhood. Aside from my BMW, Saab, and Fiat.. there are a couple of riced hondas to break up the monotany of silver, gold, and beighe camrys, civics, and SUVs

I now live in a town of 2,000 in the middle of Montana. I've seen a Pulsar AND a mint (and I mean with a cherry on top) 86 Subaru Brat. I lust after it daily.

evidently I live in a neighborhood of tuner wannabe kids still living with their parents... My GF and I live in a house on a culdesac and just around the corner, there is a riced out miata with 0 offset sportmaxes that sit like 3" outside the stock fenders, a turbo (albeit pretty clean) integra, a newer GTi with a nasty body kit, a couple bugeye wrxes that have nasty body kits and (near as I can tell) straight dump exhaust... The rest of the neighbors have lifted 4x4 trucks of various flavors.

You guys are missing out. Neighbors on both sides have 88 Fiero GT's, two houses down is a '67 Corvette Convertible, end of the row is a 67 Impala 2-door, around the back is a 64 Mustang Coupe and Orange 06 GTO in the same house. Down the street is a cherry '65 Corvette 427 Convertible in Blue on Blue, an original '57 Chevy Bel Air 2-door fuel-injected 283, and a '42 Ford street rod all in the same house. Down that street is also a Jag XJS, a C4 Vette, a Malibu SS, a ton of newer Mustangs, and a GTP Daytona Edition. Add in my RX-7 and P71 and it's a pretty interesting 3 blocks.

Unfortunately we lost the '59 Buick Electra (Chuck died last fall, RIP) but the young couple who bought the house are into trucks (he's got a clean '67 Ford 4x4, looks good). Last month the '66 Caprice big-block 2-door moved out as well, new older couple have 2 newer Buicks.

I have a lot of beige and maroon Buicks, Camrys, Accords, Minivans and a bunch of SUVs. A mint 1st Gen Miata and a cool 2nd Gen with a body kit are about all the excitement around here.

A guy around the corner/across the alley put a barn-fresh XKE in his garage and closed the doors ... I've heard that it runs, but haven't seen it in months.

There's something with WIDE slicks and zoomies in another garage a few blocks down.

My block? One Miata. A nice 5.0 Mustang coupe.

My Valiant is, of course, the fastest white over-40-years-old domestic inline six automatic four door sedan on the block, bar none!

I live at the end of a dead end street, and the most exciting cars in my neighborhood besides mine would be the bone stock unrestored 1940 Ford in a garage five houses down, and the old lady across the street has an '87 Grand Am that looks brand new! Totally crap-tastic car, but I bet the thing has less than 80k miles on it. Besides that, there are five 88-98 style chevy trucks, one late '90s Caravan and two late '90s Town and Countrys, '96 Camry, a new Malibu, Impala, and Ford Edge, a Grand Cherokee, '98 Regal, late '90s Sonata, '06 Mustang, a Saturn Vue, late 90's Malibu, and a late 90's Ranger. Pretty damn vanilla.

I am the only real automotively interesting person on my street with the E30 and the mustang..

I guess the kid down the road with the semi clean boxy escort is alright and my next door neighbor with the newer eclipse they are trying to sell, but meh..

I knew I was forgetting something: I've got a beat up Brat running around here, too. And there's a street a few blocks over that's full of ACVWs. Like that street is where they all went when they started rusting away around here.

Odd place, this.

My next door neighbor has a '56, '57, '58, and a '03 Corvette. Along with his mid '50s Purple Coupe DeVille, Late 90s Sts, early '00s 2500 GMC and a boat that can hold 300 gallons. He an old single guy with girlfriends. Then Nocones is down the street with his tube-framed-rotory-engine MG and now his Subaru 360 (which I havent seen yet). He said one of his neighbors has a MGTD in his basement! There a couple E30s and a couple E28s. The coolest part is the shop a couple miles down the highway with the original 289 Cobra, a gray market mid '90 racing EVO, an AutoUnion moped, a helicopter, a bunch of old/new porsches and ferraris, and even a flat black air cooled bug. The list goes on....I've even seen a Mclaren SLR there too.

It's almost all cute-utes, minivans, and family sedans in my neighborhood. One neighbor/landscaping company owner changes up his blinged-out work truck every two years or so (this year is a Tundra, last was a Titan, three years ago was an Escalade SUV/truck thingie). There's a couple of Honda ricers nearby, too.

There used to be more intersting vehicles like a black RX-7 Turbo II, a silver Miata, and a C3 Corvette in Indy Pace Car livery, but they are long gone. My RX-7 and the '68 Cutlass convertible abandoned in our 3/4-of-a-car garage are the only two interesting cars for a mile.

My neighbors are pretty boaring for the most part. I do pass by this old ~1972 dodge colt? thats been sitting for years, not too rusty, looks like it could be fun with the right motor swapped in it...

one block away is a '71 monte carlo with a 468 BBC in it. about a mile away there's an ACVW and a corvair. '67 - '72 C-10 pickups are enormously abundant down here. and about 3 miles away there's a pair of '64 fairlane 2-doors, and a '72 vega GT.

There's nothing in my neigborhood but two kids on a minibike modified into the David Mann look. One of em got busted for riding without a helmet, and before I could offer him my old one, he disappeared. He sneers at me now, whenever I take the black Corrado out for some exercise. I have to hide cars in the garage & back yard now, because I don't want them vandalized.

Maybe I'm warped. We chose this neighborhood because the houses are far enough apart that you don't have to know your neighbor..and of course because living this far out of town, you don't have to pass emissions.

OTOH, down near the "corner store", there's a guy with an MG Midget. I guess he's still working on it, since it goes on & off the jackstands every couple of weeks..

There's a few cool cars lurking around my area. A family down the road owns a BMW 2002, E30 318is and E39 M5. Further down the road, there's an old guy who bombs around in an Austin A35. In the local area there's also an AW11 MR2 wasting away in the weeds outside someone's house, and there's a dude with an Alfa Sud Sprint up on blocks. I've been meaning to stop and ask about the last two.
