There are times when I wonder if political positions should be filled by a "draft"... sort of like jury duty...

Not to turn the topic here, but the original intent of the founding fathers was that political positions were to be like jury duty. You get in, do your duty, and get out. While I admire how well they accounted for changing times in advance, the one mistake they made was not adding a provision that eliminated the chance of career politicians. Okay, now back to this light hearted, entertaining thread..
