A little heavier than my normal posts, but let's confer about these.
When the cyclone hit I said that since China was such a supporter of the military regime in Myanmar, they should help get them out of trouble. We could assist the Chinese. But now... holy mother of god, who would have thought California was safer then Scheswan.
Personally I'm bemused that when a regime uses a disaster as an excuse to centralize power in another country we're quick to condemn it, but nobody appears to grasp what has happened in the US since 9/11. Yes, our government was a little more subtle about it, but same damn thing.
I don't think we have a problem with them centralizing power as much as stopping us from delivering food. How dare they take away or right to fell like we're helping.
