At first I thought Vintage Racer because of the lack of safety equipment, then I saw the rotors. Kit car? The front deck doesn't align well with the dash and the rear one just doesn't line up; yeah, that's like my work.
Any idea what this is?

Looks like a Cooper FJr. Doesen't look like he's on a race course so I'd guess he's just giving it a pretty serious shake down. Pretty stupid thought because a FJr. can kill someone as dead as an F1 with no roll bar or seat belts.
IIRC the wheels have the brake drums cast onto them so that's probably what looks like a disc.
I came very close to buying one in about 77 or so. It had the original engine replaced by a Fiat transaxle and a 948 Spridget engine. The circumstances just weren't right at the time. $800.00, wow, what would it be worth now?
Edit: I just looked again and saw that that's not grass on the side of the pavement, that's hay bales. No way they'd let someone run a car with no belts or roll bar @ Goodwood would they?
