My grandfather's name was Wallace Lester
Even crazier is the William & Wallace.
We have no kids but tried hard and that meant that twins could be likely.
My F-I-L was William and the names of Wally and Willy were considered.
Just call him WillyWally.

My suggestion was a tip of the hat to the Scottish knight of Braveheart fame (portrayed by Mel Gibson).
I think it's something about the fierce and threatening face of that conquering puppy!

SWMBO & I had a friend that named their dog KayGoGi, which means dog meat in Korean. My wife and our friends wife are both Korean. Kids won't let me name a dog that. My wife threatens that with our dog sometimes when the dog gets a bit 'onery. I tell her the dog wouldn't make a full meal, she's only a 6lbs toy poodle.
