An FM employee named his son Jerrick Danger. Poor kid is going to pay for "Jerrick", but "Danger" is his middle name.

Jacob Elika (he was born in Hawaii hence the hawiian middle name)
Parker Daniel (Named after Parker Ranch in Hawaii, though he was bourn in Illinois)
Dorisa Quan-Yu (pronounced chewon E, born in Feng Cheng, Xiangxi, China) Her full chinees name was Feng Yu Quan, which translates as Feng -> Harvest (last names first in China) Yu ->Spring, like an artesian well (this is the generation name, all the children in this spacific orphanage that were about the same age had this "moiddle" name) and Quan ->Rain. (like our fist name) We nammed her Dorisa after my wifes grand mother who lived to 102 years and then americanized her name to be her middle name.
sorry for the long explination.
I know I've mentioned this before, but a friend of mine's son is named Phoenix Skullcrusher. No joke.
If I ever have a son I am considering Richard Edward...
Guess what he is going to get called when he is in trouble....
26 YO daughter was named Morgan for the obvious reason.
I always thought Curtis Wright would be cool.

We settled on Alexander Michael. I thought Race Car was an awesome name especially coming from a then 3 year old kid. We decided against such an odd name, but it was pretty funny when we called people telling them we had a new addition to the family, and they asked the name. We would tell them it was Race Car Phillip Michael, and there would be silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds. I guess we should have used that name after all.
Race woulda been pretty cool.

Holy crap! He'd better grow up to be a total badass
Well....not intented to be automotive related but..

Grace (everyone needs some)
Gage
and
Cam
Oh yeah started this thread and forgot the we named the daughter Tallulah Wray. Our next son is going to be Ashley Michael, ASH for short Evil Dead
Ooh, damn, I like Race. 'Specially since my last name is Carlson.
That would necessitate having a child, though. And probably getting married, since Race Tupper doesn't have the same ring.
my daughter name is Carmen Belle. It just has a nice flow to it. I told my wife tha are next kid (if we have a anether one) the middle name will be TURBO she said yes to it.

I bet you asked her during a pillow fight and she was winning
I have a nephew called "A J", his father named him after the race car driver. I'm his godfather, but never heard what the initials really stood for until he graduated from high school. BTW, he drives a Honda Element (used to drive a Sunfire) so doesn't take after his namesake.
My sister's first husband (of 4) had the first name of Joseph, so she/they? decided to name his son Jay. Her daughters by husband #2 kept the tradition, of sorts, alive with names that begin with "J" , as in Jennifer and Julie.
Sorry, I guess that wasn't really race or car related.
My son is named Rhys Thomas Rummel after Rhys Millen and his initials sounds sort of high performance RTR.
My wife is English so I wanted a English unusual name for my Daughter. I wanted Boudica, but my wife wasn't too keen on that, so we settled on Siora, who was one of Boudica's daughters. Her initials are also kind of automotive SER!
Chris Rummel
my girl is Camber Elise... and that was before the elise was here in the US ;-)...
my son's middle name (the name he's called by) is Cooper...

That's what i'm doing with Judah when he gets a little older going to call him only Race
A set of fraternal twins was born at Yale-New Haven Hospital in the '80s when I worked there.
Their names were Smurf and Smurfette.
I'm trying to convince my girl to name our son Colin, after Colin Chapman and Colin McRae. Rhys was another alternative.
Colin's not such a common name in the US. Judging from the responses on this board, it wouldn't surprise me if everyone named Colin had a dad that was an enthusiast
I wanted to name my latest boy Rhys but it just doesn't roll with Giesbrecht Instead we named him William and refer to him by the last half, "Liam".
Rhys is on the list for us though it's a friend of the wifes from fight camp. He'd probably never let her live it down. She's irish and knows three colins otherwise that'd be on the list too
