For non-clicking convienience this is what was said
moparnomore Aug 8, 2012, 7:31 AM my family has been dodge\chrysler since 1936 myself since 1984 today you have ruined that , A Ridiculous decesion to leave nascar so until you return i will not by your products i was brand loyal, when you left before i got it nascar made rules to put the brand at a disadvantage. this time it's a short sighted bad decision about putting money in your own pockets (or your italian owners). maybe work on the reliability of the journey, caravan, and what is a ram i dont think the dodge bros made a brand called ram. dumb!! 9

You're making a big assumption that they ever went to school in the first place....
I'm glad they are pulling out. Maybe they can focus on a form of racing that gets more respect around the world, like lawn mower racing.

I was going to post that as the next comment over there, but you need to register. ugh, not doing that
Yeah I can believe he was serious. I was expecting his post to say he would self-immolate in protest or something, now that might be trolling.
You may very well see some Nationwide and Trucks still badged as Dodge, but that would be from teams that alreeady have the equipment and don't want to spend the extra money to change. These will be the guys that run 5 laps and park the car to collect prize money for 40th. The Cup series cars will be all new bodies, so there will not be anyone crazy enough to spend money on a body that is not going to have backing from the manufacturer.
For what it's worth, Dodge did complete all of the preliminary testing and development needed to have an official entry in the Cup series...

Next you will tell me that wrestling aint real!
I think that's half the problem NASCAR has. A lot of it's fans are nitwits like the guy who wrote that. I took my family to Pocono Raceway this past Saturday. They had a fanstastic time. Yes, there were a lot of fans there who were several sandwiches short of a picnic. I think that generates a lot of hate for the sport. But not all fans are like that. I still enjoy it. Sure, it's definitely not perfect, but I've been a fan for years and still am. I like other forms of racing too, such as Grand Am and ALMS. For me, those are much more interesting than F1. I have no interest in that at all. None.

You and I both. I have no desire to watch F1. It is boring to me. But hey, Top Gear talks about it all the time so I guess I am supposed to like it. If Top Gear sponsored a F1 car and the Stig was piloting it, the F1 nutswigger's heads would assplode.
Now that guy that posted in the comment section is the exact kind of person that irritates me when it comes to NASCAR. I like NASCAR and like several teams with different brands of cars. It always seems to be the people from the shallow end of the gene pool that say the usual "Chevys suck" or "Man, I'd never drive a Ford" or "I will never watch NASCAR again if Dodge pulls out". And unfortunately there is more of those people that flock to NASCAR than any other motorsport.
Edit: Insert random statement about Senna and how great he was

Why are you "afraid he's serious?". Are you genuinely concerned that this guy will never buy a Dodge again? Come to the peaceful world I live in, where there is no caring if Dodge, NASCAR, or barely literate comments trolls disappear from this Earth.
There now, isn't that better?
the guy can't type.. no reason to bag on him.. he might be the smartest guy you've ever met but he just can't translate that into typed words on teh internets..
some people get passionate over soccer.. some people plan their lives around following trains around.. some of us drive unreliable old cars even tho we can afford reliable newer ones. the entire country of Italy is embarrassed because one of their top athletes in the Olympics- a competitive walker- got caught doping..
some people like NASCAR a lot, and they like it better with Dodge in it..

No, Im not really afraid he is serious. Clowns are the only thing I am afraid of.
So what could Dodge do with all of those NASCAR funds. How about giving some 600ph Dart Rallycross cars to GRM for competition!?!?

eerrr...grammar isnt something that you turn off when you pull a keyboard out. Punctuation isnt either. That guy was either a mouthbreathing hicktard, or a 13year old facebook addict who learned to text before he could write. Personally, given the subject matter of his post, I vote the former.
I dunno, I know some people who are reasonably intelligent in real life but type like a sugared-up 13-year-old AOL user.
You'll need to log in to post.
