Pucketts, Hattie B's Hot Chicken (although I've heard that there is better and this is for tourists; I loved it), or Waffle House. Because I heart waffle house.
What are you in the mood for? My go-tos include:
Burgers: The Pharmacy
Chicken: Smokin' Thighs
Hot Chicken: Pepperfire
American: Ellendale's
Southern: Monell's Manor
BBQ: Lil Choo Choo BBQ
Pizza: Mafiaozas
Pizza: Angelo's Picnic Pizza
Mexican: Los Tres Amigos
Southern: Arnold's Country Kitchen
Red Stapler mentioned many of mine:
The Pharmacy or Fat Mo's for burgers. (Fat Mo's is a drive through only shack)
Jacks Barbecue on lower broad downtown is my favorite, and you'd get to see the town a little bit.
Mafiaoza's is great pizza
Monell's is special - Family style sitting around a big table with people other than your party.
Puckett's is okay, a bit overpriced IMHO.
You'll be close to Donelson after landing so go over to McNamara's Irish Pub and Restaurant. Not southern, but damn is it tasty. If you want the southern meat and 3 go to Vittles of Donelson, they close at 8 though so after getting your rental ride you might be pressed for time.
Hell if you need company let me know, I'm on that side of town. Phone is 6one5-5oh2-203nine

I have had everything on the list except for this thing called "hot chicken". Sounds like something I should try! If you are interested, I Will call you when I land and we can meet up. No Homo.
Sounds good, I'm always up for some hot yard bird. Pepperfire would be a good choice for that side of town, and they have beer on tap now at their new location.

It's too bad they're closed on Mondays!

We'll fook me. I never realized, I usually go at the end of the week. Good thing he's in the mood for some hot chickens.
red_stapler, you meeting up too?
Can one of you post the address to the pepperfire location?
My flight is boarding now, should be on-time into BNA.

Sure, I'll coordinate with T25torx.

1000 Gallatin Ave C, Nashville, TN 37206

My choice too. I've been to the Broadway location several times. Plus it's right in the middle of the Honky-Tonk action.
Good time last night BS'ing with red_stapler and t25torx. Note to self: when ordering hot chicken from a place called Pepperfire, maybe back off a notch or two from standard Thai heat level. Mild owned me.
Good choice. I like Pepperfire and Princes much better than Hattie Bs. Hattie Bs is okay, but it is definitely the more touristy/hipsterish location and the chicken isn't as good imo. That deep fired pepper jack grilled cheese at pepperfire is insane.

No pictures, no documents, deny everything. It never happened. But come on down and have some good Nashville noms, dude.
Had a good time as well, nice to be able to have nerdy car talk without the other person going "that's nice dear" afterwards.
My favorite was "If you're not the last driver in the enduro, you're in the racecar delivery business..."

I suspect there may have been some Homo.

That came from a friend at Toyota, who got to drive a company-backed truck in the Baja 1000 with Ironman Ivan Stewart a couple years ago. I believe the quote was attributed to the Ironman himself.
