Watched this video. The British sure have a lot of Kit Car Manufacturer's.
I haven't looked lately, but does anyone in the US make an affordable Lotus 7 clone? $45,000 for a Caterham is just insane.
In reply to ddavidv :
I made my Exocet look a bit like a Lotus 7 for the state registration process and registered it as a 1966 Lotus 7 replica. As an added bonus it only had to comply with 1966 emissions and safety requirements. Much cheaper than $45K, not nearly as pretty.

Neither have I, but the peak days of 7esques in this country have passed. Having spent many hours driving two of them, I think that people are missing out on an amazing experience, yet I also understand. 7s beat you up a bit. They really are 4-wheeled motorcycles. They are also dangerous as heck, and lack the native-bred history of say, Cobras.
It's amazing how cheaply you can get nice used ones for in the UK.
Seems like the Exocet is still the most affordable. I just wish it looked better.
Brunton Stalkers are still made, it appears. They get expensive pretty quickly though.
