T-Mobile lets me do it without rooting the phone. It sure is convenient.

Hard to imagine I used to think having a beeper was the coolest thing ever.

I have had a "smart phone" for a while now. I just don't see the need for a tablet, as my screen is more than large enough.

I've used my galaxy note as a wifi hotspot for my work blackberry so I could check my mail in an area the company's phone service provider doesn't cover. I love my note.

I said the exact same thing, until I got the tablet. Now I use it as much or more than I use my computer and the phone is pretty much for making phone calls and hotspot use.

I've never said my phone screen was big enough for anything but phone call info. I'm so glad I got my tablet. I do so much more out in the field now.

When I get home I don't have to jump on the computer before I say hello, go to the bathroom or anything.

tablets are so much more usable than a smartphone... and thats just a 7" (rooted w/ custom rom kindle fire) it's my wife's... but I knew I would be sitting for a bit so I stole it...

I had my car towed the other day and it was neat to see that the tow driver was using a 7" tablet with built in wireless... used it to take my credit card, for GPS and for email...

I had to root my phone because it's an ATT phone... we've got the 1900mhz frequency up for 3g here on tmobile (so you can use your iphone on the tmobile network)...

i'm thinking of picking up nexus 7 now instead of a newer phone (top of the line when I got it but 2 year old android phone is slow)... might put me off of getting a new laptop for another year or so even
