My mom is going to turn 60 in 4 months, but since I'll be working out of the state for the last 3, I basically have to figure this out now. Any ideas on a gift I could build/make that is personal? I can't weld, but woodworking isn't out of the question. Ideas?

whats she into? A picture frame wouldnt be too hard to make from wood trim in a miter saw, and a bit of glass cut to fit. Put a nice pic of her favorite son in it (you have brothers right?
