Long story short.
My brother's car was stolen and some parts were stripped by rank amateurs. They just took the easy stuff.
Car was recovered, and has been sitting at his mechanic's shop for 4 months ever since- a high end repair shop in Santa Monica.
I think the bottom line is they don't want to do it., and my brother thinks a wrench is a lady whose not so lady-like.
1995 Acura Integra SP black on black
missing:
2 front black leather seats
hood
2 front fenders
front bumper/ nose (headlights and all)
So, it needs someone trustworthy to scrounge the parts, head to CA, and put it back together. I'm almost considering doing it myself, as the job is so easy. I could fly out there, get it done in a weekend, visit my bro, fly home and still make a couple of bucks.
But I've got a job, and some of you don't.
So, anyone interested?
Bro's not interested in a Locost?
SVrex,
Check your email or private message thingy or wherever "contact" messages go.

A B-series locost sound pretty epic. I like this idea.

E-mailed you back.
Locost...
...Hmmm. My brother would think the idea to be quite idiotic, but I'm game. We've got a lead on a complete running car that's got most of the parts he needs for $2K. Maybe there will be enough left over for me to consider the Locost!
I'd do it but I live in charleston SC..
Wrong coast.. HA!
Good luck.
I live about an hour from Santa Monica and would be glad to help out.
btw I just noticed I'm a half-dork

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, so let me say it in about the clearest way I know how...
Jerry from LA ROCKS!
He's been a major help to my brother (though they decided to trash the car).
He's been thorough, honest, direct, and fair in the whole thing, and he has made my brother a very happy feller.
Thank you, Jerry.
Just had to give a boost to a brother who deserves it!!
