Need for Speed -- National Geographic

Tired of NASCRAP on the Speed Channel? Flip over to Nat Geo, they've been showing motorcycle tech and crash tech all day. I haven't seen a schedule or know how long this will last, but it's a refreshing change.

Speed Channel has sucked since it became Speed Channel. Or at least since they gave up WRC and Dakar coverage. I can't remember if that all happened at the same moment or not.

But seriously, did the thought not cross your mind that A) maybe it's been discussed before here, and B) maybe some people like it?

It's possible to not really like NASCAR without thinking the only people who like it are inbred white trash with mullets and missing teeth.

That's probably why I didn't accuse NASCAR fans of all being inbred white trash with mullets and missing teeth.

The biggest reason I don't like NASCAR is that it has chased what I consider much more interesting forms of racing off of TV. In my opinion the sport itself is kind of boring but okay, like soccer.
