This seems like it should be simple. I'm looking for handles similar to the type below. Here's what I need:
- 270* of swing. They'll be mounted on the edge of a box, positioned so they can either hang straight down, or be flipped up to rest on top out of the way.
- Capacity of ~20lbs each would be plenty. The total Carrie's weight will be about 25lbs.
- Low-profile: I need the top of the bracket to be 1/4" or less from the mounting surface. I do not want a rubber grip(see below), though I could cut it off.
- Cheap. The pic below is from Grainger, and besides being too big, these are $12-each. I need 6x total.
Any idea where I can find some?

Easy for an old horseman to recognize. Tack trunk handles.

Found this on a quick search.
My father-in-law's handle was "teardrop". I thought "iceman" was cool.

Ooh, close, but not quite. I need the bracket to only attach on 1 side like this, but without the spring. And hopefully a bit smaller & cheaper.

I'll do some keyword searching though & see if I can narrow in on what I need. Thanks!

Mine was "Gator".

Imagine those handles, with the base folded around so both sides touch, and that's exactly what I need.
Yes, I could potentially do that myself, but they'd look like crap & I'm sure I've seen handles like that before. Somewhere...
Well the local hardware store downtown didn't have anything listed in their catalog like I'm looking for either, but I bought something I hope I can make work. Bonus points for also being cheap.

The mounting plates are thin enough I should be able to bend them in the vice fairly easy. The holes are also parallel, so if I end up needing to fold the bracket all the way over onto its self(vs just 90* to go around the corner) I won't have to drill new holes & weaken it.
