I know I don't post often, which makes me feel bad for coming here asking for help, but I know this is the place to turn to get stuff done.

My aunt was killed in a motorcycle crash last Friday. We are burying her tomorrow, and, at the request of her husband and children, are trying to get as many motorcycles as we can lined up to give her the final ride she deserves and would want.

She got the bike in March of this year and had just hit the 10k mile mark within a week of her death.

This is the email that has already gone out to the local HOG chapter:

Last Friday, Susan McAdams, passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident. The family has asked that her fellow motorcyclists and HOG family be present to ride in her honor through the funeral procession. The following is her service information. We will leave Walters Bros. Harley Davidson at 9:30 to head for Lewistown on Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with the Rev. Danie deBeer officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery in rural Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at the memorial home.

I know that a lot of you don't like Harleys, and a Harley is not a requirement, just a preference.

If you could pass this on to anyone you know in the area, or who would be willing to ride in for it, we would appreciate it so much. The facebook event page is here

There are more people than just Jed and I that will be there, the event page was created to spread the word to those not involved in HOG.

Please help me give her the final ride she deserves, and please keep my family in your thoughts. My parents were riding with her and, had they been riding in their normal 'formation', all three of them would be dead.

I don't beg much, but in this case I am begging. Please, please help me do this for her.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can make it.

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. My thoughts are with you. I've got a few friends around syndey, IL - I'll give them a heads up.

Sorry to hear the news about your loss.

I know very little about motorcycles but I hope the turnout is immense.

Thanks, oldtin, we really appreciate it.

And thanks, pete, we hope so, too. She deserves it.

Morbid, I'm sorry to hear of that. You might want to try a post on Cicenet.

I will when I get home. I didn't think about posting there, too much going on.

MTN, if you get a chance to post for me, I would be very grateful. I won't be on a computer until 2 and then have to head to the visitation.

I'll pass the word around. I'm not in IL but I have plenty of friends in the bike community, rockets and choppers alike, and let em know what's up.

We had 20 bikes show up, and the family asked them all to rev as they pulled my aunt out of the hearse. It was an amazing turn out and I am so grateful for each and every bike that was there.

You'll need to log in to post.
