Can you tell me the make, model and year of this car?

Thx...

It looks Fordy. Like this 1941 Ford Coupe:

was that "extreme" sports back then?

I dunno. Swept back, slightly, headlights, only one grill, it's an pre-war car, try posting on the Classic side. My first thoughts were Buick or LaSalle....

They all look so much alike from the front view that it's hard to tell.

Yes, it's a 1941 Ford.

Actually, during the 1930s and 1940s the easiest way to tell the year of a Ford was by looking at the front end.

But the headlights are different and there are no lower side grilles.

The headlights are the same in both photos above. For some reason the lower grilles don't show up in the first photo; they may just be in shadow, or it may have to do with how well that photo was scanned, but if you go through Google images for the different years of Fords you can see it has to be a '41.

Lady, you scratch the fender with those boots, I'll have your ass!

Stuart is correct. There is no doubt at all that the car in question is a 41 Ford.

Model?

Looks like a metal roof, so coupe or sedan. Other than that, I don't think there's a way to tell from that angle since all Ford models of the period (except trucks) shared the same steel from the cowl forward.

  • whatever

Its definitely a 41 ford.

I think it's a convertible. It's hard to tell as the photo isn't big enough, but it looks like the front roof rail of a soft top running along the top the windshield.

The bodies of 1941-1948 Fords were essentially the same while the front clip (hoods, fenders and grilles) changed from one year to the next.

Hey, at least they are shaped like women, and not 13-year-old boys with fake boobs.
