What's doing well right now? Google. Swiffer. Blackberry. Twitter. Mac. I'd say go with one word, and don't worry if it related exactly to what you do. It should have an emotional appeal, and be easy to remember. Think about themes like safety, convenience, improvement, vision, light and driving.

I could tell you the perfect name, but I'd have to charge you a consultation fee of $695.

That's the point of the retrofit, to not have this issue when going to a much higher output bulb.

Although I do admit that if you are in front of a car with HID projectors and they are going over bumps, the flickering can get pretty annoying.

Stop this!!! I'm so not a fan of the glut of businesses with "solutions" in their names--thus the after my "suggestion" ...but if OP uses it, I want a free t-shirt.

Hmmm.. yeah that's true. I just saw it as one of the best names already offered.

HID Retrofit Inc? I dunno...

LOL. And he could come up with some racy calendars with scantily-clad well-endowed models.

Yup. Let's face it, the target demographic is overwhelmingly male and younger, so that works. As a bonus, the name would be search engine gold. Almost as good as AAAA Windows (or whatever product) back in the old phone book days.

We'd like to run a couple by you all if you don't mind.

Vedessi

Vedi Retrofits

The "vedi" / "vedessi" comes from the italian verb "vedere" which is "to see."

My business partner and I are both of Italian descent, so this sits well with us. We have extremely Italian sounding last names, so I feel this can only help.

The derivation is cool, but most of us will have no clue that it is a play off an Italian verb. You should probably add some reference to lights if that is your final choice.
