We did one "local" GTG/wash 'n wax with a group from the RoadFly E36 M3 forum a number of years ago... the actual GTG at the organizer's house was ok... but the short drive after wards... well, that was eye-opening... let's face it, to really push an M3, you need to be going at pretty stupid speeds. Way too stupid for public roads... and way, WAY too stupid for public residential roads... Never again. Testosterone + horsepower + lack of control = nothing good...
Hell, after a season of doing auto-x, I don't really enjoy the MINI rally runs that we do anymore... There's a reason my daily driver has 90 hp... I get into plenty of trouble with that...

I try very hard not to be "that shiny happy person in the Bimmer" but I hate the fact that now I am going to be second guessing myself and how people perceive me whenever I get behind the wheel.
Clearly you're not through the denial stage yet; you didn't even have to post this thread and I thought you were a douche. Hell, people walking by you on the street think your a douche. You don't have to get behind the wheel for people to know your a douche, you ARE. You're a beamer owner.
I'M KIDDING! (mostly)
I need that branded to my forehead.. forget the number of the beast... it is the emblem of the beast.. the blue and white propeller
