With the mustang sold i needed a DD asap. The Trans Am is just too tempermental to be driven everyday+needs $600 worth of some new weatherstripping and with Florida rain showers that = no bueno.
Was on the hunt for a used EP3 Si, FA5 Si, or MS3. Every used car I was coming across had more issues than Paris and Perez Hilton combined. So yesterday I gave one last used car a chance and it was nice, but the stealership was at mis-quoted me an internet sale price and after driving an hour and a half away to look at it, they already wanted $1000 more than what they quoted me, then by the time I was walking out the door they wanted $2000 more than what they quoted me. (Bill Currie Ford in Tampa BTW).
Wanting to cool down we drove down the street to grab a bite to eat and came across a Honda dealer and by chance that had one brand new fully loaded four door Si in stock. With my Honda employee discount and bargaining skills I knocked around $5k off the price of the car and decided to lease it since I haven't been keeping DDs all that long. I'm happy with it, happy with my payment and ability to drop it after 3 years as well. With that said here are a few pics.
The color is Dyno Blue Pearl, came with the Navi, and all the other goodies. Very fun and comfortable car to drive.

Were two pony cars too much to deal with?

Yea my pansie ass could handle all that hp and torque.....
I built the Trans Am and found myself not driving it as much because I had the mustang for one. B) It was rather expensive to keep two muscle cars on the road at once. I'm saving about $200 a month in bills with this vehicle.
Nice car! Too bad it's a rental
yes, but it will keep me from modding it which in turn will let me put that "mod" money towards the Trans Am or savings.

Hah, I didn't mean it in a "What, you're not MANLY enough to handle the power?" kind of way. I was whether having two cars that were so mod-friendly would be hard on the pocketbook, without getting as much return in fun (since their objectives overlap a bit).
You are VERY lucky. In my area, Memphis, there are only 1 or 2 2010 Civics with a manual trans. for sale. One is an LX sedan and the other a Si Sedan. 99% of the Hondas sold new here have auto, same seems to be the case for Mazdas......sigh.

I think that's probably the only logical reason for a lease I've ever heard.
See there is a method behind the madness and mitch i know i was joking around. But yea they were almost the exact same thing, getting rid of the stang was the more logical decision because I owed on it and the Trans Am is paid off.
Got a call today that even more of the final price was knocked off for owning another Honda. Payment went down like $5 lol.
And they aren't making a whole lot of Si(s) right now, something to do with Japan's gas engine build hiatus or some nonsense like that.
I hope you took it back to the Ford dealership to let them know they lost a sale.
There's a new Civic Si sitting on our driveway. Sadly, it's not ours. Call me a fanboi, but I think it's still an awesome car.

I should have drove by and said hi, but I wrote the salesman an e-mail instead telling him thank you to leading me to a brand new vehicle.
And I'm with you Dave
Congrats!
I was considering one of those before I picked up the MS3. Never got around to driving any more cars after the MS3 though.
I was about to buy a used MS3, checked the carfax and it had 3 accidents. No wonder is was $3k below every other MS3 on autotrader!! Fun cars those MS3s are, but happy with my purchase.
