I've been an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in rural counties for four years. I decided I was ready to move on, sent out a resume, interviewed, was offered a position, took it, and resigned in 72 hours.

I'm stoked. Just spreading my weekend cheer. I can feel years worth of uptightness melting away as I type this.

What was so bad about the job that you resigned after 72 hours?

I think he means it ALL happened in 72 hours, from mailed resume to new job and resigning old one.

Ok, that makes more sense, I read it as he started the new job and the resigned from the new job within 72 hours. didn't make much sense to me, but yeah.

Yeah, I sent the resume and got an offer and took it and resigned from my job in 72 hours. I gave 30 days notice, too, so no changes yet, but looking forward.
