Nice! There was a pretty good die-cast thread around here, but it's been inactive for a little while.
Found it: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/recent-hotwheels-scores/42055/page66/
On the desk. I use some of these as scale reference in product photography. And OK, I don't personally own an ND. But I drive them often enough.
This is a 1979 HotWheels F-100. My Mom hand painted it blue for me. It is the thing ive owned the longest. It is a prized possession.
Appleseed said:Keith, Matchbox has a new casting of the ND that is really nice.
A new one? I've got one that's from about 2015. I have a bunch of little NDs, but they're mostly at home.
I should have said new to me. Its a silver one. Matchboxs are spotty around here. HotWheels has 30-40 J hooks, while Matchbox has about 5 in a store.
I have a couple of model discos. On a hotwheels that is the same colour as mine. A black disco1 about 1/48 and a 1/24 disco2 in green

Do you have the lego Mini or the lego Caterham or both?
Both. Plus the camper, even though I know mine is newer.
Fun fact: the Lego Mini has rust hidden inside the sills. Whoever designed that thing knows Minis.
And the Rovers.
This is a little pewter kit that I need to man up and build someday. Learning will be involved.
And misc. Not shown: model kits for a CRX, a Vanagon Westfalia and a Mini.
Don’t own it anymore, but I used to have a Golf just like this. I also got my dad a model of his 90 Passat wagon.
I think I’m done.
I have a 1:18 scale model of a BMW M535i from Autoart I'm pretty fond of. My real car has a black interior instead of the tan interior on the model but otherwise it's pretty darn close.
If i ever find a zephyr wagon id certainly buy it. My matchbox/hotwheels collection is mostly mustangs, 30s era fords and escorts.
