Mrs 84FSP found a a Great Dane rescue pup that just had to come home. He's a 3 yr old Mantle and the current Dane resident Izzy just turned 1 yr. She's super excited to have a buddy. He's a bit banged up and malnouriahed but we'll have him sorted out in no time.
Congrats mate, I lost a dog last week, you found one this week. He's a good looking boy, I love dane's, wolfhounds and other big dogs but After the last week of heartache, I'm not sure I'm cut out for big dog ownership.
Hopefully he settles in well, starts packing on some weight and doesn't send you broke feeding him up.
Thanks Daeman, sorry to hear your pup passed on. The new boy Lou is fitting in well here. Just working thru the food desperation stage as he hasn’t had it available. The girl Izzy is overjoyed to have a buddy.
Beautiful boy. MIL just got a coonhound mix after 2 years dogless.
