Not about a Ford F150 purchase.
Back to back ads last night on TV, Chevy was offering $11,000 in “savings” on a new Silverado and Dodge was offering $13,000 on Rams.
Lot of markup there, has anyone ever paid full sticker price for a truck?
In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) :
Wait until the end of the year and there is another discount on top of that.

I think they do in Texas?
I paid GM A plan for my truck. It was early in the GMT-900, maybe 10 months in? The A plan was bigger than the discounts they were offering though I think they got cheaper than that a couple years later. My big hitch with ordering a short box standard cab V8 muscle truck the way I want it is not getting the "on the lot" discount and that's pretty significant.
In reply to Pete Gossett :
I think it's only valid on off-lease trade-ins...
Only 20 years old! A 50,000 airframe hours hours, easily another 50k! 0-timed engines, fresh paint!

I always wondered what the savings would be by starting with an off-lease airframe for my 737 conversion. Seems like a no-brainer, but then you probably get your other 737 friends making fun of you for owning a used jet.

Does Boeing offer a friends & family discount?
I was looking for a certified pre-owned B-52 with the carpet bombing option.

There was a boneyard selling DC-3's for $300k with the radials still installed probably 6 years ago. Way cooler than any plebeian 737.
In reply to The0retical :
I would be interested in an AC-47 variant, but the accessories would be frowned upon for a civilian.

Living next door to a USAF base, I love it when the C130s fly over at treetop. Even though they’re turboprop, on approach they sound like a WWII radial(or the overdubbed engine noise from Airplane, if you prefer).
Considering they’re the only aircraft that are stationed here, it’s a pretty frequent occurrence.

MXU-470s were manufactured prior to 1986. 200 bucks for the tax stamp, locating one for ungodly sums of money and it too can be yours. I bet the FAA would frown on mounting it though.
Bonus round: It uses 7.62x51 so you better have a progressive reloading press or it gets expensive quick.
