New Year's Eve Movie Sync - Car Edition

At this point most people have blown up the Death Star or dropped Hans Gruber at midnight. But I think there are some car themed movies we can sync up with a climactic ending moment worthy of a new year. Some ideas:

The Wraith - when Packard gets blown up at the end

Hooper - When Burt Reynolds hits the button

Fury Road - when Immortan Joe gets his face ripped off

Road Warrior - when Wez gets annihilated by Humongous

The Car (1977) - blowing up the car

Maximum Overdrive - blowing up the Green Goblin

I know there are more.

If you start Dr. Strangelove at 10:32:40pm, the bomb will go off right at midnight.

Darwin: Not automotive, but it is a damn good one!

How about Selma and Louise going of a cliff in a T-bird: (make it arching drop)

Which ending of Vanishing Point do you time with midnight?

One of the first New Year's Eves that I remember as a little kid, we watched It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!  

Lot's of interesting car stuff in there, and a great cast of old timers.

I fully intend to watch Mad, Mad World this year. There is no better way to ring in the new year.
