Is anyone going? I'm thinking of going on monday morning.
I can't go during the week in the morning. I'll friggin' go though! Did you guys see the BMW art cars last week (along with the new Z4) at Grand Central?
When is it anyway? These next two weekends I won't even be here (Easter with family and time trials at Summit Point). I'll probably have to go during the week after work.
It runs this weekend through next weekend. Doesn't look like I can go monday, I may try to squeeze it in before work one day.
You should go AFTER work. I'd like to meet another fellow GRMer. (Unless work starts for you at 7:00 PM: then go before).
What is the 500? Ford doesn't make that anymore, do they? Isn't it the Taurus now?
I just got back an hour ago. It was awesome. I've never been in a Viper. Until tonight. Strange car--you feel encompassed by the car, and yet, you also seem to be sitting on top of the windshield.
I LOVE the Volt! Also, Chrysler had an electric Lotus Europa -- um, I mean Dodge EV somethingorother. That was pretty cool as well.
I love the new Mustang, I lust for the new GT500, the Camaro is awesome but has a silly steering wheel that has no comfortable grip, and the Challenger--well, sometimes there really is just "more to love" (and a manual transmission!!!!).
500 - fiat 500, not ford.
to me sitting in a viper (i've only sat in a 95 or so) was that it was like sitting in a miata thats a little bigger with a bigger engine (the pedals are offset to the left due to the wider than normal trans tunnel because of the engine size/placement
I went this morning when they opened. I didn't see the Fiat. It wasn't as good as previous shows, luckily I ws able to entertain myself. Aside from the Camaro Ford put on about the best display and had some people that knew what they were talking about. The Toyota people didn't have much of a sense of humor, neither did the young ladies in the Nissan display.
The carpet in the display smelled new, I asked if they were taking it to the next show or if I could have it for my den. They were also tring to push the Cube on my. Apparently it's all the rage in Japan, in it's 3rd generation. Something else from Japan I don't get but I didn't get there porn at first either so perhaps I should give it a shot.

Tentacles never make sense the first time, and then after a few years you just can't live without them.
I'm going to the car show tomorrow. If I see any awesomeness I'll post the pictures. Last year the local Lotus club had a display outside, which was awesome.
You'll need to log in to post.
