I have a friend that has one of those, but it has been sitting many years now. He always says he is going to fix it(was overheating, and cutting out a strange times),but I know he will never do anything with it. It is screaming for a 12-valve Cummins with a 5-6 speed manaul trans!! I think it has a 460 under the bonnet now. I wonder if he would sell it to me?
Yeah, I knew a guy that had one of those. He and his wife used to haul a monster 5th-wheel down to Disney with it every winter. Mind you, they were in their 60s, and didn't necessarily have their grandkids visit.
A Centurion... purpose-designed 5th wheel hauler.
Currently owning a '95 Cummins that replaced the same model van as above, I see two problems with a 12v 5 spd in one. 1) the shifter would be behind the front seats. 2) There would be no way to put enough insulation over the doghouse to get sound levels down to a tolerable level.
If it's priced to high for the $2010 forum, they want too much.

How about a 12-valve,and a built up autotragic then? I can't imagine a straight six is too long for a van that came with 300cid's in them at some point in time. Screw the insulation,I want the thing to rattle my fillings loose!!! That is the best part of owning a 12-valve cummins. I miss my 92 D250 so much!!
