ALF claims raid on Molalla deer farm THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

MOLALLA, Ore. -- A posting on a website that conveys information for the Animal Liberation Front says animal activists removed a large section of fencing at a deer farm at Molalla.

The message says the raid last Saturday was intended to allow deer to escape into the surrounding forest.

Owner Richard Bentley told KGW-TV he's raising 80 European Fallow deer for meat, but there were no animals on the land where the fence was cut. He wonders why animal activists would want to release tame deer during deer hunting season.

The Portland FBI office says it's looking into the incident.

Here's my Miata after a deer crossed my path:

Photobucket

As a bonus, about six months later, I contracted Lyme Disease.

Now I have a hunting license. Berkeley deer.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! They would just walk up to the hunters looking for food!

Hunter 1: Psst... Bill! BILL! There's a deer walking right up to me....

Hunter 2: yeah... right.

Hunter 1: No man... he'sstill coming. I KNOW he sees me... he's RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! BOOM

Hunter 2: Wow.... that was the easiest kill I've ever seen!

I forget exactly where it was (I think it was in Virginia somewhere), but one of those groups broke into a lab and released a bunch of lab rats. They just turned them loose, the critters got run over by cars all over the place and there was a panic because some of the rats were part of an experiment to find a better vaccine for hoof and mouth disease. Meaning they were infected. Good going, guys.

Fight back by eating some animal product for every meal. It's similar to my plan to fight back against all of the hybrids out there; I floor it in my old guzzling/polluting van (or guzzling/polluting rotary) for 2 seconds every time I see a prius, ya know, to equalize the universe.

Dang none in the area they cut the fence I was thinkin' it was time to make a quick trip for some meat (Oregon hunting license holder).

On a side note yeah what the hell were they thinking wanting to release tame deer into the forest during hunting season? I mean that seems to be a bit of an issue they would think of you know?

I remember a few years back the enviro nuts were having a fit about this guys buffalo herd he had around here. When the herd was released about half of them wandered on to the local reservation land, well you can imagine what happened to them.
