I liked this one.
He does better with the quirky roles.
College Humor has a short dedicated to what they think of Mr. Cage and the rolls he takes on. You should watch it, it is hilarious.
Nicholas Cage is a Civil War era vampire
I did like his portrayal of one in "Vampire's Kiss"... or maybe I just have a thing for Jennifer Beals.
I liked him in Adaptation, Lord of War, Leaving Las Vegas, and, of course, Raising Arizona. Actually, Kiss of Death was pretty watchable, too.

Strongly fighting the urge to hotlink the triple breasted chick.
He was good in Moonstruck...and the National Treasure movies.
I like him, he's a car guy...off beat...does his own thing.Had to liquidate cars/houses due to "bad advice" from his people.
I liked Lord of War a LOT more than I expected to, but I think that role could have been played by any number of people. Same for KickAss. National Treasure did manage to impress me, and I'm not certain another actor could have done it as well.
Sure, Cage has made some crap, but he's also made some excellent and/or highly entertaining movies. I was actually entertained by NEXT (though it's definitely not a great movie) when it first came out on video (I knew to suspend any hope of it sticking to the original PKD story). And I have to say that Drive Angry is perhaps one of the worst movies ever committed to film in recent years (and that's saying something!). But ya gotta give him credit for the good stuff too.
BTW, you guys totally overlooked probably my favorite movie in which Cage appears: Peggy Sue Got Married. That flick is littered with great scenes and quotes, and Cage plays a classic quirky character. Good stuff, and highly entertaining.

But Kevin Costner is a BAMF!

Why does this picture remind me so much or Earl from Red Meat?
I, too, do not care for Nick Cage. I believe his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, is the only reason for his career.

Nicholas Coppola? Nepotism?
Nick Cage is one of those actors that really should just be a "that guy" that pops up in supporting roles in other movies and never, ever be allowed to star in anything.
