I would have picked the same winner. Great use of colors and detailing.

What did we decide for December??

I am flattered, and surprised. Email sent. I'm a little surprised at how good that little Fox looks. Monogram gets most of the credit for cranking out a crisp body shell. I think I went through half a bottle of semi-gloss black painting all the trim.

I think there was some consensus to take December off due to the holidays. I'll offer up a prize for January, whatever the hive decides to do. I got that Pro Street Thunderbird kit from a past contest. That is like the ONE style of car I don't have interest in and I can't figure out anything alternative to do with it. (No offense to the person who gifted it; still appreciated!)

Small scale challenge? Hot rods? Weathered vehicles? Famous cars from movies or tv? Something else?

Might give the snap Raptor or the 70s Chevy plow truck a go.

I was able to get some more black on it yesterday. I will finish it and post. Can't paint right now due to humidity.

Happy  birthday vwcorvette. In honor of that here is a progress photo. The black is fully sprayed and almost rubbed out. You can't see the dust or scratches until you photograph it with the macro lens. Gotta get the compound out of the panel breaks too.
