You know, I hear people say that all the time, but in four fox-chassis cars, all driven hard, the only time any of mine came around on me was in a slalom section in an autocross that I came in too hot and sawed at the wheel a bit too much.
I'm not really sure either. Every time I autocrossed it and it began to spin, it was too quick for me to catch. But then again...I'm no Schumacher
It's interesting... some cars I regretted selling even while selling... but then a few years later I look back and think "man, glad to have sold that one"!
While others I was absolutely relieved to have sold at the time, but later was sad I let it go. Most of these were sold in moments of frustration (UrQ) or to free up cash for some other purchase (Tatra). I would buy either of these back now.
Then there are the ones I sold just because I was tired of it and wanted something different. (My E36M3 convertible falls into that category). The ones you regret are the ones that you were never able to find that "something different" that you liked better than what you gave up.
