Did any of you guys ever get the British sitcom The Goodies, I was just thinking about these guys and cannot recall any threads about them over the years.
I loved this show when I was a punk school kid.
I would classify them as the poor man's Monty Python.

Bill Oddie is hated by Clarkson and the top gear team for being such a strong environmentalist.
We got The Goodies a little bit when I was young, on the local PBS affiliates. Just a couple of seasons. I seem to remember an episode about a giant kitten climbing the Royal Mail tower.

The Goodies were from an earlier time, we got the entire multi seasons of episodes downunder.

looks like America only got exposed to British tv via the MTV networks- MTV and Nickelodeon. MTV also showed some godawful British soap opera for a couple of years in the late 80's, too...
