Before I plugged in my headphones I thought "man, this better have Yakety Sax as the background music..."

LOL best part is around 1:35 where a cop grabs a skater and then a huge swarm of them goes by on the other side of the road!

Looks like their equipment was just too short to get the job done (that's what she said! )

If they wanted to stop the skateboarders all they needed to do it spread aquarium gravel through that whole intersection. Pretty sure that would stop a skateboard wheel cold.

Don't they have better things to do than bother skateboarders? Last I checked crime still occurred in NYC. Then again, I don't live there so maybe it's a bigger issue than I know but it seems like it should be much further down the priority list.

But it makes them look bad......if they were fighting crimes they'd be shooting random passerbys, so this group of skateboarders might just be doing the public a service by keeping them busy.

Hey now they just had a whole week that was murder free (and trumpeted it to everyone). You can't ask too much of them.
