I have a small stash of 12V batteries, of the SLA and AGM type, with ratings between 18Ah and 35Ah. They are designed for deep cycle usage.
Picked up a screaming deal on a 12V, 12A Odyssey Ultimizer battery charger, to keep my stash charged and ready.
Then I went to Odyssey's website. They claim their Ultimizer charger is for use with ONLY Odyssey batteries.
WTF? Isn't a battery charger a battery charger?
