I live behind the Walmart/Kroger, I will be in Cinci for work though. Gabby's is great, looks like crap but great and 315 is not a bad road, unfortunately it is hard to find it clear of traffic.
Since you will be in Dublin you should go out to Midwestern Auto Group and drool over all of the cool stuff they sell out there, I think the only high end stuff they don't sell is Lambo. Also the largest Lambo dealer in the midwest is just up the road in Marysville.

Hopefully not in the dumpster, many people get crushed that way

welcome to Columbus,
15 th largest city in the USA, and still has corn fields within the city limits!
( also has a higher murder rate than NYC! )
Look me up when yur in town,
I can give you the 2 bit tour ( and can always use help in the garage )
it's only as large as it is because they expanded the city limits and include the cows in the population back when it was important to them to be bigger than cleveland.
dublin sucks - watch out for their gestapo police. i had an epic run from the law back in the day(i think the statute of limitations is up on that one) in that craphole of a town. don't blow your nose wrong or one of the cops might take a swing at you - and don't worry the police chief will claim no evidence of the incident even with 30+ witnesses and tell you to piss into the wind.
columbus sucks. all ohio south of canton should be part of kentucky or west virginia - it's not the same state as the part within 2-3 counties south of lake erie. once i get south of dragway 42 in west salem i hear banjos and see confederate flag back windows on every other pickup like ohio fought with the south in the civil war or something.
oh yeah - Quaker Steak is a gimmick place - their wings are awful and their prices are too high for the fried crap bar food you get. save your time and go somewhere good to eat. if you were coming to the cleveland area i'd hook you up with some homemade banana bread that i baked last night.
easy pat...Cinci represent right here thanks...no "stars an bars" to be seen in my neck o' da woods.
Wouldnt want to have to start making "mistake on the lake" jokes

Dang Pat!
Only cars, women, or jobs get me this riled up!!
Wally, but the rent is cheap and I get all the expired food and cheap Chinese crap I want
Come on Pat, I have not seen a single "Stars and Bars" at Mid Ohio. Besides if you haven't driven the roads in eastern and southern Ohio you are missing out.
meh i've been offline for 3 weeks and haven't wrenched on a car in a month and a half, i had to rant about something!
For proper food and beer check out Betty's in the Short north, it's a bit of a drive from Dublin but well worth it.
Should I be searching behind industrial buildings for a certain Scirocco as well?
Nope, I'm actually storing the thing indoors these days. If you have time to drive over near CMH I could break it out for some hoonery after work one evening.
I have returned and I am alive. I REALLY like that area.
Sunday night I was a little beat, Monday went to class and then I accidentally found Average Joes on Sawmill and Hard during the time that the "Young Business People of Columbus" were there. It was a fashion show of idiocy. Hot chicks and douchey guys all trying to prove their accounts are more important. My waitress thanked me for not being one of them by only charging me $4.00 for my dinner and not charging me for anything else. She got a nice tip... mind out of the gutter.
Didn't try for any other trouble, I was going to stake a Florida Gators flag in the ground near the football field but I forgot the flag.
Glad that your ce-oh experience was, for the most part, positive.
We have our fair share of d-bags, alot of them in and around Dublin-town.
Delaware isn't too bad, it's growing too fast, and as much as I like it, I'd move to Marysville if possible.
