Why take a unique and very capable 4X4 and do this???

hmmm... so it really wasn't a capable 4x4.
Not quite my taste, but still pretty cool. Looks like a fun around town driver and show car. Probably not competent at much more than cruising, but nothing wrong with that.

Incorrect. This is not a Scout II. This is a scout 800.
Oops, it was 2WD I agree, the execution looks pretty good but noy my bad at all. I'd put a real front axle in it and get it dirty

It's the ultra rare Mopar Mustang International Scout

in that case some one should give it a type R badge just for good measure

I keep waiting for people to put a Q on a car. Its such an underrated letter, but I swear it adds 8 horsepower to a car if you put on a Q of those refridgerator magnets to the end of the name.
Not a concept I'd build, but very well done. Like the color paticularlly. Hate the mustang badge specifically.

I actually made a "Type Q" logo and and put it magnetic sheet. I would put on my Civic when I was autocrossing.

Aside from the Mustang badge, I don't see the problem. Looks pretty well done to me. The original Scouts (80/800) aren't that rare, they're not as easy to come by as the Scout II, but they're still not that rare in many parts of the country. I prefer the original to the Scout II, myself, I think they look a lot cooler and I prefer their smaller size.
