Rare? I didn't know it existed!
Isn't that a flower/bouquet funeral car? The stainless steel bedliner would work pretty well for that.
If that's a flower car, it is fairly rare and it would have a pretty strong collector following. If it's just a custom Coupe de Ville, I'd say he did a pretty nice job.
A buddy of mine has a Caddy flower car similar to the Blues Brothers'. The rear is covered like a hearse only with much larger glass panels, rather than being open. Plus it doesn't stink like death.
He wants to chop the rear panels off to make it a parts hauler for his Mk.IV Supra Turbo and FC3S RX-7 Turbo. I'm trying to convince him to leave the body alone and get it running first!
Hell that thing could be either a super sexy hot tub or the largest drivable deep fryer I've ever seen. < Homer>MMMmmmm sexy deep fryer....< /Homer>
Yep. We had a flower car parked at the grocery store not too long ago. Very unique looking and it was definately cool.

I just watched this movie (for the nth time, of course), and I had no recollection of that car until this viewing. So friggin sweet.
ummm, Les...that's mr_niteowl not mr.niteowl...sheesh...girls. Gees, I dunno Les, you've seen me use the Rampage for moving all the crap for our Car Club BBQ, but never as a Funeral Coach...I'm thinking you should buy it and we could load your 323 into the back of it for the next Challenge.!!!! Am I missing something? What a terd!
Flower cars usually look a look better that than. My 1960 El Camino was a former flower car. JFK had one in his funeral procession.
