Long story, short, it's time for a new jack.

While I'd love to buy an American-made Hein-Werner, that's just not in the cards. Their parent company imports a Chinese-built line called Omega.

My primary concern in Chinese jacks is rebuild-ability. The Omega line has complete rebuild kits available and I consider that a big plus.

It's available for around $130 locally, and I consider that a fair price for a rebuildable 2.5 ton jack.

Do any of you have experience with this brand?

None, But my aluminum craftsman (visually looks identical to the HF racing jack) has been great for the last 7 years. Close is price to what you mention as well.
