I had this thought Monday night as I drove the Miata home from a club meeting. Some dufus is close behind me in an SUV with the fog lights on. It might be time to use my Harbor Freight 20% coupon on a huge gazillion candlepower flashlight.

Story time:
Getting onto the freeway, new Mini cuts me off... the driver then has the balls to flip ME off.

How about an aimbot poop cannon that shoots dog poop hard enough at driving lights to either break them or have the correct coefficient of splatter to render them no longer dangerous to society?

I have seen aimbot paintball guns. This should be a trivial application for the same code.

If there is anything that I've learned in life, it is that there is no problem so large or so trivial that it cannot be solved with excessive technology and dog poop.

In reply to SnowMongoose:

I had nearly the exact same thing happen to me, except he also slammed on the brakes after cutting me off since, you know, I was following too closely immediately after he pulled in front of me.

It was so ridiculous, I laughed instead of tossing the bird right back.

I'm not forgetting it. In fact, I am pointing out that this method of implementation is stupid. This is why I usally call them "dipE36 M3 lights" because they are useless for anything other than identifying the dipE36 M3s on the road so that you can avoid them, or at least be ready for them to invariably do something really dumb.

while I wish mine were able to be operated by themselves (so they could be used as true fog lights)… I would still run them with the headlights on … the added illumination is great … they don't blind any on coming traffic, and greatly add to the up-close visibility … just wish they'd stay on when I switch on the high beams
