I have called their 800 number and have gotten the "call back service" from India, though no call back yet.
They are a German company, in Germany no less. The Service is out of India, the north American office is in Portland, Or. , and the Distribution center is in Miami Fl.
What are the odds I end up with 4 tires for the price of 2?
Good News in a Bad Economy!
Bugger those are heavy too, I hope you didn't have to pay shipping on them.
I bet if you do get in touch with someone they will tell you to keep them due to the shipping costs involved.

In reply to slefain:
probably not, since they likely cost a few hundred a piece
Have you checked your billing history to make certain you weren't billed for all four? And contact the bank so they can block any further unauthorized billing from the same company - just to be sure.
If the tires came out of FL, it's probably worth the bucks for the company to pay for return shipping; it still has to be less than the tires. If you get to keep them, BONUS time!

I have been checking my credit card, so far only one charge (for two tires).
I have contacted them twice now by phone and once in email to their stated contact email address, the email got an automated response and no one has called be back from my two phone calls. So long as not other charges show up I am considering them a gift.
Maybe they had a buy-two-get-two-free deal and they just forgot to tell you?

I got a hold of the north American office. The person who answered the phone informed me that she could not get into the "on line" order database. I asked her what I should do and she said to call the 800 number.
So I did, again (third time) and left all the information on the "call back service" recording.
What is the statute of limitations on receiving items shipped to you that you didn't order?
I think you've pretty much covered your ass as far as the law or karma. You've made multiple attempts to put this right and the company isn't responding. Keep an eye on your credit card statements but if they don't contact you, keep the tires and be happy.

Seems all the legal and karmatic (is that a word) stuff has already been addressed. I'm only posting to say I love shadetree30's avatar.
Man I gotta get me another one of those one day..
I just ordered a Canon EOS 50D camera kit and they sent along a Canon Rebel EOS XSi also.

I would keep a record of the contact attempts, give them a week or so and then if they still dont respond, send them a letter stating that if they dont rectify the matter in "X" days, you will consider the extra tires abandoned and claim ownership. you may also have the right to charge them reasonable storage fee's if they do come back later on and try and charge you for the tires, which would probably negate any demands they make if they ever get their stuff together.

I understand your sentiment.
I wonder if they thought about how much money it cost them to ship them out, ship them back, and restock them. To be honest, sounds like a poor business decision.

Probably less than half of one of the tires?
Not sure how much these cost, but big outfits get shipping discounts. I think my SSR wheels from tirerack.com only cost around $40 to ship, for 4. So theoretically they could take them back for $20, then some stock guy making $10/hr puts them back on a shelf?
