Wow! Thank you everyone. I truly appreciate all the thoughts. Makes me wish my life hadn't taken me so far away from the racing world. Even applied to be a writer at GRM many years ago.
I will post the arrangements and his obituary when I get to writing it.
Thank you for the thoughts on the finances. We have to consult an estate attorney, I think Paul was sick for a bit longer than he admitted to anyone so we have some issues to sort. I will never, ever ask for money unless for something major, hopefully I can sort without assistance.
Thank you all again. This thread has honestly been the highlight of my day.
So sorry to hear this. I know how rough it can be at times like this. We tend to sit around telling our favorite memories and stories of those that are no longer with us. It keeps them alive in our hearts and allows us to remember the good and less of the hurt and loss.

Hannah your brother was one of us, a GRMer through and through. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I, too, am deeply saddened to hear about this. Loved to read whatever he happened to post.
I'll keep watching to see if there is anything that can be done to help.
praying for you and your family

I might be able to make the service if my work day ends with enough time. I'm only in Harrisburg PA, so 2 hours tops.

He was a veteran and we have asked for any donations to the Gary Sinise Foundation or Southeastern Guide Dogs organization. They both do work for veterans and train dogs for the veterans (getting the phone, etc...).
Thank you!!
I will be also writing his eulogy and if anyone is interested in learning more about him, I will provide it.

I'm sure we would all love to read it. If you are up to it, please post it here. Thank you.
I believe we have an "In Memoriam" thread somewhere which might be useful...

That is a remarkable charity. Thank you for sharing.
Found this video tribute while poking around on the funeral home web-site:

The good Captdownshift and I showed to represent this place. Pretty good send off for a great guy. You can tell he will be missed.

Thank you, Gentlemen.

Thank you!
His video memory board was touching too.
I just learned you can double your gift to southeastern guide dogs if you donate today.
